1. Cancellation Duration & Timeline
⏱️ Cancellation takes effect IMMEDIATELY — within 24 hours of submission
Once you submit a cancellation request through your subscription dashboard, your subscription is marked as cancelled. Premium features will be disabled within 24 hours. You will receive a cancellation confirmation email.
2. How to Cancel Your Subscription
Step-by-Step Cancellation Process
- Log in to your account at https://aimedilabs.com/patientarea/dashboard.php (patients) or /healtharea/workspace.php (healthcare professionals)
- Navigate to Settings → Click "Subscription" or "Billing"
- Click "Cancel Subscription" button
- Confirm cancellation — no survey or questions asked
- Receive confirmation email within 1 hour
3. Cancellation Timeline & What Happens

4. After Cancellation: What You Should Know
Access & Data
- ✓ Access Retained: You keep access to your account until the end of your paid billing period
- ✓ Download Your Records: You can download all your health records, documents, and chat history before access expires
- ✓ Data Preserved: Your data is kept for 90 days after subscription ends (in case you want to reactivate)
Limitations After Cancellation
- ✗ Premium Features Disabled: Ad-free browsing, priority support, and advanced features removed
- ✗ No Refund: No refund for your current billing period (even if you cancel on day 1)
- ✗ No Re-activation: Auto-renewal is permanently disabled; cannot be re-enabled
5. Reactivation After Cancellation
If You Change Your Mind
If you cancel by mistake or decide you want to reactivate your subscription:
- Log in to your account
- Go to Subscription → "Reactivate" or "Choose a Plan"
- Select your desired plan (Patient Premium ₹500/month or Healthcare Professional Premium ₹900/month)
- Complete payment and start your new subscription
- Reactivation takes effect immediately
Important: Your previous data is available for 90 days after cancellation. If you reactivate within 90 days, you will have access to your previous health records and chat history. After 90 days, data is permanently deleted.
6. Special Cases: Cancellation Duration Policy
What "No Cancellation After Success" Means
Policy: No cancellation requests shall be honoured after subscription is successfully charged.
This means:
- ✓ You CAN cancel anytime before your next billing date
- ✗ You CANNOT cancel and get a refund for a charge that already happened
- ⚠️ If you cancel within 1 hour of being charged, the charge still applies (no refund)
- ⚠️ To avoid next month's charge, cancel BEFORE your next billing date
Example Timeline
Scenario: Your subscription renews on the 15th of every month.
✓ If you cancel on March 10: You keep access until March 15. No charge on April 15.
✗ If you cancel on March 15 (after charge): No refund. You keep access until April 15. Can re-plan before April 15 to prevent next charge.
